Dr Kathy Low graduated from Monash University Medical School in 2003. She undertook physician training at Austin Health, and subsequently completed advanced training in Respiratory and Sleep medicine at Monash and Eastern Health.

She works as a Consultant Respiratory and Sleep Physician at Monash Medical Centre and she is accredited at Epworth Hospital.

She has published extensively in high impact journals including Lancet Respiratory, American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine, Respirology, and Clinical & Experimental Allergy. She was a recipient of the prestigious Emerging Researcher Fellowship at Monash Health for her work on severe asthma and vocal cord dysfunction.

She is a member of the Thoracic Society of Australia & New Zealand (TSANZ) and the Australian Sleep Association (ASA).

Her main areas of interests are asthma, vocal cord dysfunction, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and lung nodules. She also has particular expertise in diagnosing and managing sleep disorders including sleep apnoea.
