Dr Anvi Butala is a Consultant Geriatrician.
After graduating from Monash University with first class honours, Anvi completed her specialist training at major tertiary centres in Victoria including the Royal Melbourne and Austin Hospital. In addition to her private work, Anvi currently holds a public appointment as a specialist Geriatrician at Royal Melbourne Hospital.
Anvi is also passionate about advocacy and medical leadership, serving as the Victorian division secretary of the Australian and New Zealand Society for Geriatric Medicine. She also enjoys medical education and is a clinical tutor through Melbourne University.
Anvi’s special interests include delirium, dementia, cognitive assessment, management of polypharmacy and falls prevention.
