Dr McClure will be joining the team while Dr Lucy Lim is on leave.
Dr Tess McClure is a Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist who works at Austin Health.
She studied Medicine at the University of Melbourne, and completed her Gastroenterology training at St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne and Austin Health. She also graduated with honours in Medical Science at the Nossal Institute for Global Health. Currently, she is undertaking a PhD in liver transplantation at the University of Melbourne, for which she has been awarded a Research Training Program scholarship.
Dr McClure is passionate about providing a high standard of care and compassion to all her patients. She is available to consult on a broad range of gut and liver disorders. Her areas of interest include abnormal liver function tests, fatty liver disease, hepatitis, irritable bowel syndrome, gastro-oesophageal reflux disease, coeliac disease, iron deficiency, inflammatory bowel disease and bowel cancer screening. She would be pleased to discuss patients with GPs or other specialists, and will endeavour to accommodate urgent referrals.
