Dr Stephanie Low is a Consultant Geriatrician. After graduating with honours from the University of Melbourne, Stephanie completed basic physician training at Austin and Northern Health, winning the award for top candidate in her cohort. She then moved on to complete her specialist training in geriatric medicine at Austin, Northern and Alfred Health.
Stephanie is a member of the Australian and New Zealand Society for Geriatric Medicine and is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. She holds a public appointment as a Consultant Geriatrician at Alfred Health, currently working in the Residential In Reach service.
Stephanie is passionate about innovation and quality improvement to improve the care of older people, especially in residential care. She is a strong advocate for holistic and compassionate care for her patients, with an emphasis on optimizing quality of life and maintaining patient autonomy.
Stephanie has expertise across all areas of geriatric medicine, and has particular interests in dementia, delirium, quality use of medications, frailty, and palliative care.
