Michele completed her medical degree at Deakin University with first class honours then undertook her physician training through the Austin/Northern hospitals. She completed her training as an Endocrinologist at The Austin, Northern, and Royal Melbourne hospitals. She subsequently obtained her SOMANZ obstetric medicine qualification during her 2 year fellowship at the Royal Women’s hospital, gaining experience in medical obstetric care and specialised endocrine aspects including menopause and diabetes in pregnancy.

Michele currently has public hospital appointments at the Northern Hospital as an endocrinologist and
obstetric physician. In addition to her clinical work, Michele has presented research at state and national conferences.

Her areas of interest are general endocrinology, thyroid, adrenal and pituitary diseases, Womens health, and diabetes.
