Ms Lee Thurlow

Biography

Lee has been a registered psychologist for over 10 years has qualifications in clinical psychology and further training in Compassionate Focused Therapy, Mindful Based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy as well as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.  She has experience in both the public, private and corporate sectors that has included community, hospital workplace and private settings.  She has also been involved in teaching and research roles at Swinburne University.

Lee has a wide range of experience in the treatment of mood disorders, anxiety disorders, personality disorders, adjustment disorders, trauma and grief.  She has particular interests in working with clients with social anxiety disorder and those who may be having difficulties adjusting to a medical condition.

Lee is committed to developing a collaborative working relationship in a safe and nurturing environment.  Her therapeutic style is warm, accepting and encouraging and she aims to assist individuals in developing and reinforcing strategies that will promote and sustain mental well-being and a more personally fulfilling life.  She sees clients via Mental Health Care Plans, Worksafe, Victims of Crime and privately. Lee is happy to see patient face to face or via telehealth.
